My name is Devin Keidel, and I am seeking a position as an elementary educator in the Columbus, Ohio area. I am a dedicated, organized, and student-centered teacher with a strong passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education, graduating on the Dean’s List every semester while also being recognized as a Scholar Athlete for four years as a member of my collegiate soccer team. These experiences strengthened my work ethic, time management, and commitment to excellence—qualities I bring into my classroom each day.

During my field experiences and student teaching, I worked in both kindergarten and fourth grade classrooms, where I planned and implemented lessons, differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and fostered a positive and structured learning environment. My mentor teacher invited me back to continue working in the classroom, which reflects my professionalism, adaptability, and ability to build strong relationships with students and staff. I utilized a variety of instructional strategies, including hands-on learning, small group instruction, and interactive activities to support student engagement and achievement.

In addition to my classroom experience, I have worked extensively with children as a swim instructor and babysitter. These roles have strengthened my ability to connect with students, communicate effectively, and create a supportive and encouraging environment. I am committed to building strong relationships with students and families and believe that a positive classroom community is essential for student success.
